About me
Hi there!
I’m Pedro Cardoso and this is my blog, where I plan to jot down some notes, some comments, and some bits of code.
Who am I?
I’m a programmer currently working in Lisbon, Portugal.
I am from the beautiful city of Aveiro and I did my higher studies in Viseu at the Polytechnic Institute there, with a semester of it spent at the UAB in the always lovely Barcelona. Catalan became my third language and after all this time I still read the news from Avui.com. Once an eramsus, always an erasmus, I guess.
After returning from Catalunya, I started working as a teacher while trying to do the last 3 years of my degree. Ironically, having a full-time job made me a lot more productive in school than I was before.
After finishing my degree I moved to Lisbon, after having some trouble finding a job in Aveiro. I plan to return there, but so far I’m having a great time here.
. Currently I work at SAPO on mobile development, and it has been a great experience so far. Not a workaholic but I love my work.
In my free time, I do all the usual stuff a geek does. Results of it can be seen at this blog, at my Flickr account and at some scene.org files.
I’d like to write in english all the time, and even if I find it easy to do so, most of the time I get lazy and write in Portuguese. Sorry about that if you can’t read.
I can be reached at pcardoso at gmail or twitter.
