Loved it again, and what can I say? It’s hard not to like an event such as this that touches all the soft spots in a geek.

I won one of the prizes with my own crazy project, lent a hand in another that also won, did my first overnighter in years, got a mild cold and got sick of pizza again, though in a few days I’m sure I’ll be hitting some pizza joint when the time for lunch comes.

Here is an event, where people will not leave for most of day (if they leave at all), where they’ll be doing exactly the same things as they do in their working hours of the rest of the year, often with the very same people. I can’t speak for everyone, but I think we’re very fortunate to be working on something we love so much.

Now let’s archive this year’s project, mark one line of the Taskpaper Ideas file as “done”, and patiently wait for Codebits X (MMX?).

Meanwhile, the project number tag still glued to my laptop’s back can remain there…

Estive envolvido em 2 projectos interessantes, um dos quais com o meu ex-colega Artur. Um deles algo ambicioso que pode ter uma continuação nos próximos tempos, outro feito “just for fun” que ganhou um dos prémios (o de votação do público).

Amanhã coloco o binário e o source para verem um “jogo feito em 60 minutos ™”, depois de uma revigorante noite de sono com menos café e redbull a fluir no corpo.

Ao SAPO, obrigado por tudo. Foi tudo impecável. Espero que não se importem de ter trocado a linha da PT pela Vodafone ADSL aqui em casa.

É uma “Minho Campus Party”, sem Campus Party e sem ser no Minho, mas tem todo o “miolo” que me interessava na MCP.

Quando uma pessoa encontra alguém, parece como quando se vê uma celebridade da TV na rua: uma pessoa passa tanto tempo a ler as coisas dos outros nos blogs que ao fim de algum tempo sente que até os conhece.

O ambiente é bom, as conferências que vi têm sido interessantes e o Red Bull é abundante. Estou a gostar.
