Partilho o sentimento de vazio que ele diz sentir ao acabar o último livro, mas a vida continua. Há resmas de livros bons para ler. Literalmente: um conhecido meu sacou o PDF da net e leu o Código De Da Vinci às custas das resmas de papel de um ministério onde estagiou.
Entrei na “irmandade” tinha saído o 3º livro há pouco tempo. Comprei o primeiro livro por acaso: no fim do meu Erasmus em Barcelona fui à Fnac da Plaça da Catalunya comprar uns livros em català para trazer para Portugal e foi um dos que trouxe. Devorei-o em dias, à custa de muitas horas de sono perdidas, e li os restantes em português e inglês, consoante o que havia.

Devia abrandar para fazer render o peixe, mas tal como uma varinha, este livro escolheu-me para o ler e não há fuga possível. 
Ao que parece, a FNAC re-abriu há 37 minutos para vender o novo Harry Potter. Não fui, mas se calhar passo por lá amanhã ver se ainda têm alguma cópia por vender.
Tenho que reduzir as leituras na web para reduzir o risco de me cruzar com algum paspalho que faz um post com um spoiler sem avisar ou o faz intencionalmente.
I’m currently reading Adrian Mole and the Weapons of Mass Destruction and a couple of weeks ago I did Adrian Mole: The cappuccino years.
After having read The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole aged 13 3/4 and his Growing Pains from the school’s library at around 5th or 6th grade, this is like meeting a old friend again.
During these years, I was not aware there were more books in the series (but I did not search for them too). The True Confessions of Adrian Albert Mole is already on my bookshelf queued to be the next. Yes, I know I’m reading them in the wrong sequence.
I’m reading the portuguese versions, but too much is lost in the translation, even with the translator’s notes. Some phrases only mean something when I try to translate them into english again. Maybe I’ll order the remaining ones from Amazon instead of buying them at Fnac.
